Media and Renewable Energy Workshop Towards Net Zero

From December 5 to 7, 2024, the Media and Renewable Energy Workshop Towards Net Zero – Season 2 (MERE2024) officially took place at the Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre Hotel, bringing together experts, journalists, and reporters from across Vietnam. This event built upon the success of the Vietnam Renewable Energy Media Training Workshop 2023 (MERE2023), with the goal of enhancing the media’s role in promoting messages about renewable energy and sustainable development.

As part of the workshop, participants joined a field trip to the Phu Lac 1 and 2 wind farms in Binh Thuan Province.

MERE2024 promotes collaboration among the media, businesses, and government stakeholders in Vietnam’s energy transition journey, contributing to the country’s Net Zero commitment made at COP26.
